Our Beliefs and Values
“What we believe determines what we value, and what we value develops what we believes.” – Pastor Landon
Jesus is our example.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
People are our Priority.
“You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself. No other commandment is greater than these.”
Generosity is our privilege.
2 Corinthians 9:7
“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
Serving is our purpose.
“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Honor is our heart.
“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.”
God and the Trinity
The Creator of the universe is both One and Triune. (Genesis 1:1) There is only one God and he is eternally existent in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 10:30; 1 John 5:7; John 14:10, 26; 2 Corinthians 3:17)
We are saved by the free gift of grace, through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ and respond by placing our faith in Him. (Romans 3:23-26)
The Church of Jesus Christ was founded on the Day of Pentecost and consists of all Christians. (Acts 2:1-47; Ephesians 4:4-6)
The revealed word of God, written by man under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is without error or mistake. (John 14:26; 2 Timothy 3:15-16)
God created us to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin (Hell) or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation (Heaven). (John 14:22, 3:16, 3:30, Philippians 3:20-21, Matthew 25:41, 46)
Communion represents Jesus’ atoning blood that was poured and His body that was broken on our behalf for Salvation. We take it in remembrance of Him and celebration of our resurrection in Him. (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28)
Created by God in His image-making every life sacred. All mankind has sinned – willfully rebelled and disobeyed God. Therefore, apart from Christ, mankind is hopeless and lost. (Romans 3:10, 23)
As followers of Jesus Christ, baptism is an essential step in our relationship with Him. We practice Believer’s baptism by immersion, as it was taught and exemplified all throughout the New Testament. Baptism is the public act of surrendering your life to Jesus. In the water, you are identifying with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38)
